Easter Sunday, 10:30 Service. Flowering of the Cross
and Easter Egg Hunt (4/17)
Bring some flowers from your garden if you want to personalize the experience. There will also be buckets of flowers for everyone who wants to participate in this most significant celebration. Children should bring a container for the Easter Egg Hunt. The Easter Egg Hunt will take place on our school's athletic field.
Hallelujah Chorus – Easter Sunday (4/17)
The choir will be singing the Hallelujah Chorus this Easter Sunday, accompanied by strings, trumpets and trombones. “Christ on the Mount of Olives” was first performed in 1803 in Vienna, and retells the story of Christ in the garden of Gethsemane . . .but the glorious Hallelujah Chorus is a joyous extravaganza that is perfect for Easter!

Saint Mark's Quilt Guild
Saint Mark's is participating in the work of East Sunrise Quilt Guild by providing them a reasonably priced place to meet. Through Create and Share members make charity quilts for the community and donate them at no cost to the recipient. Some of the charities participating are Broward Pediatric Oncology-Hematology, Jack and Jill Care Center, St. Coleman's prayer quilts, Broward Rescue Mission and many more. Saint Mark's has also received these quilts for the ailing and bereaved. You may request a quilt for someone in need by contacting The Daughters of the King. This week the group is sending 23 quilts to the people of Ukraine. If you would like to donate to this effort or participate by joining the group, please contact Dianne Garvin at 954-258-1834. Meetings are held on the second Saturday of each month.
What Really Happened at the Tomb?
You are invited to join the discussion of the actual events that occurred in the tomb of Jesus and how it will affect what will happen at our death. This in depth search will occur Monday, April 18th at 7:00 pm, via Zoom. Instructions for participation will be emailed on Monday.
