Sunday’s Gospel: 10/30
Gospel, Luke 19:1-10, Conversion
Jesus tells today the story of the conversion of Zaccheus the tax collector. He was a wealthy and hated man, but he “wanted to see Jesus”. Do I really want to see Jesus? To understand Jesus, Zaccheus had to go out of his way by climbing a tree. Might we also tolerate an inconvenience by attending Monday night Bible Experience or some other venue? Seeing his dedication, Jesus exclaims, “Today I must stay in your house.”
Zaccheus transforms with passionate joy and life-changing repentance. Will we follow Zaccheus by welcoming Jesus into our hearts with his promise of salvation?

This will be followed by a cookout of burgers and hotdogs, along with side dishes on the school’s dining deck. Our school has over a dozen kayaks and ten paddleboards.
