“I began coming to Saint Mark’s Episcopal Church because of my parents. We were a military family that had been to a lot of different places and had a lot of different church homes. I wanted something similar to what we were used to enjoying: a church with a lot of life, music, active in the community, and with a lot of families. That’s what we found at Saint Mark’s and that’s why my parents chose it. And that’s why I stayed.” Giselle is currently serving on the Vestry.
Fitness and Fellowship Walk Takes a Pause
Coffee Hour in the Parish Hall (10/31)
All are invited to join our Parishioners and Visitors for coffee, after the 8:00 am and 10:30 am Sunday service, in the Parish Hall.
Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive Begins (11/1)
Our parish Thanksgiving Food Drive will begin on November 1st, and will end on November 11th. Please drop off your non-perishable food items, and place them in the labeled boxes, located at the entrance of the church. The donated food will benefit the Pantry of Broward, who supports seniors in need.
All Saints/All Souls Sunday (11/7)
Fathers Harvey is planning a special celebration of Saint Mark’s Saints/Souls. Please Join us at the 10:30 service.
Calling All Lectors (11/13)
All current Lectors and new volunteers are encouraged to attend the Lector Training Session on Saturday, November 13 at 10:00 am in the Church. If you have any questions please contact Norm Carroll at nbc10@bellsouth.net.
Daylight Savings Time End (11/7)
Remember to set your clock back an hour before you go to bed on Saturday night, November 6. You will get to sleep an extra hour, and you will be ready to arrived for Church on time!
Baptism (11/21)
If you are interested in being Baptized or want to have your children Baptized, please contact; the Church Office at 954-563-5155. There is a Baptism rehearsal scheduled for Saturday, November 20 at 1:00 pm in the Church. The Baptismal Candidate(s), Parent(s), and Godparent(s) are required to attend the rehearsal. The Baptism(s) will occur during the 10:30 am Service on Sunday, November 21, the weekend before Thanksgiving.
