Saint Mark’s will celebrate the Feast Day of St. Francis on his birthday, October 4. Francis is the patron saint of animals; whose love for all creatures was legendary. He inspires us to remember that all creatures are created by God, and to appreciate how much they enrich our lives.

This year we will be doing something new: the blessing will be included within the 10:30 worship service.  So, bring your furry or otherwise coated (and somewhat well behaved) friends.  If your pets do not react well with other pets or with strangers, we will work on an option outside of the service.
