He Is Risen! Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
Thank you!
Easter was celebrated with great love, gratitude and joy at Saint Mark's Church. Beethoven's Hallelujah with the orchestra, and soloist Donna Stevenson was outstanding. The bells rang out and voices rejoiced in the Easter Season to proclaim the Victory of Our Lord. The flowering of the Cross was moving and beautiful. The children enjoyed the abundant treats of the Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by Saint Mark's School. Thank you Dr. Estes, orchestra, soloists and choir for your gifts and time during all the rehearsals and preparation. Thank you Robin and Andre Dreyfuss for sponsoring the Flowering of the Cross, and Dr, Taintor and the school for sponsoring the Easter Egg Hunt.

Thank you! Thank you!
Thank you, Father Harvey, Father Joseph, Mike Mullins, and the Worship Committee for all the planning and execution required for such a meaningful Lent and Easter. Thank you Father Harvey for the Lenten Lessons on The Book of Common Prayer and dinner sponsors – The Vestry, Saint Mark's School, Daughters of the King, The Choir, and Book Club. Thank you Paula Green, the Altar Guild, and other Volunteers who cleaned and polished our church so that it shone. Thank you Dr. Carroll for the Zoom session on each of the Lenten Sunday Gospels. Thank you, Kelly Harris, Video Team, Altar Guild, Lectors, Acolytes, Ushers, and maintenance personnel for all the extra work that Lent, Holy Week, and Easter entail. It all came together magnificently and seamlessly.
Stewardship Continues
If you have delayed sending your pledge due to all the preparations and activities of Holy Week, please send it in before May 1. We really need every pledge regardless of the amount.
Lectors Needed and are Thanked
This is the time of the year when our northern friends start to return back north. They will be missed and we look forward to their return. If you are moved to read during either the 8:00 am or 10:30 service, please contact Jim Sentman at sentmanj@aol.com. Jim and the entire parish thank all lectors for the wonders they created in their proclamations of God's Word during the many special worship services of Holy Week.
